Redactive and the CIPD add online directories to the People Management portfolio
Contract publisher Redactive has used specially developed software to launch a searchable online product and services directory on People Management, the HR website it produces on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Personnel professionals using the People Management HR Services Directory www.peoplemanagement.co.uk/hr-services can search the database by category, location, or keyword.
Suppliers can create an online account and upload a listinginto one of 26 different product sections.Organisations lucky enough to find their details pre-loaded into the database can click a ‘Is this your listing?’ link to confirm their identity and take control of their listing. Suppliers doing so and choosing to upgrade their basic listing online are already generating additional revenue for the CIPD.
Suppliers attending CIPD exhibitions can also add a ‘Meet this supplier face-to-face at…’ message to their listing, together with an event logo linking to the exhibition registration page. CIPD members can display a ‘This supplier is a CIPD member’ message.
Traffic is driven to the new directory via organic SEO, prominent links from CIPD and People Management websites, and weekly supplier showcases (highlighting listings from the services directory) are advertised on the PM news email which is sent to over 27,000 opted in HR professionals and CIPD members.

It took a while to get it right but we are all really pleased with the outcome – as are the suppliers listed in it, and our client.”
