Redactive has managed membership communications for the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) since 2004. BIFM provides information, education, training and networking services for over 12,000 facilities managers.

FM World magazine

Prior to April 2004, BIFM published a monthly newsletter, which was not meeting communication, membership or financial objectives.

 

Redactive conceived FM World, a fortnightly magazine to meet these goals and launched it into a competitive market. Within six months it was market-leader.

 

How do the members rate it?

  • 95% of members rate FM World as a key membership benefit

  • 89% of members rate the content "good" or "excellent"

  • 94% of members rate the design "good" or "excellent"

 

FM World is used to drive members and prospective members to a wide range of services the BIFM offer, generating significant revenue while helping individuals with continuing professional development.

FM-world.co.uk is a fast-growing, news-focused niche site aimed at the UK’s facilities management professionals. The website’s objectives complement those of the magazine to provide accurate, timely information to support readers in their careers while generating revenue for the BIFM.

 

Every weekday, the editorial team writes and uploads five news stories. At 11am an HTML e-newsletter with links to these stories, the FM World Daily, is despatched. Also included are links to selected jobs vacancies on the site’s jobsearch facility.

BIFM Annual Conference & Exhibition

Redactive manages the BIFM Annual Conference & Exhibition. This event is run over two-days with 400 delegates and over 20 exhibitors. The main focus is to increase the BIFM’s profile, engage directly with members and non-members through live debates, networking opportunities, master classes and more.
